I want to do my variable speed drill, as my hand VSR drill.?
What is different on an electric drill my VSR drill respect to the varing speed? I want my drill work as my electric drill VSR. I do not want to change the band (s) position on step pulleys to vary the speed of the chuck / drill. I would like to use a dial or foot contoller resell at the speed of my drill. What is the best way to achieve? Modern sewing machines also use a foot Peddle to start / stop and speed contol. Can I adapt this technology to my reputation Press drill floor?
Hand-held drills VSR use a geared motor to vary the speed. A drill press with a belt system uses single speed AC motor and a system of pulleys of different sizes to vary the speed. If you want to vary the speed without moving the belt, you to do so electronically. There are speed controllers for AC motors in the market. Here is a link to a type of pedal.
