Wednesday, August 10th, 2011When using a heat pump 2 stage w / auxiliary heater, I have a question about the thermostat.?
When using a 2-stage heat pump which also has auxiliary heat / emergency, I saw some textbooks say the thermostat wire must be R attached to the screw HR (with a jumper to RC) and some manual thermostat wire that R must be attached to the screw RC (with a jumper to moisture). Due to the rider, is it really matter which thread the wire is attached to a rider as there is between the two? Or is incorrectly?
no, it does not matter. just do well and do not mix the colors for y1, y2, w1, E, G, O, and Possum common HVAC Guy
