Purifier Light

My water purifier has a flashing yellow light on the "filter" of light, is still drinking water?

I have a GE water purifier, like the one shown here: However http://www.wholehousewaterfilter.us/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/Water-Filters.jpg In any case, on it, there are three lights, one that says "ok water," one that says "filter", and one that says "RO" (meaning osmosis Conversely, apparently). Anyway, when it is safe to drink is usually light flashes "the water ok", and it a flashing green. Like a few days ago if the light is now flashing on "filter", which is a flashing yellow, which means to about that I must spend my filter because the one im using now all used. Is the water still safe to drink? I can not pass through the filter for some time, but is it still safe to drink water? It would just say I'm pretty much just drinking the water running then right? Because the water filter does not work, so that water would I get to be about right unpurified water running right?

He had a lot to talk about water filters and cartridges, lately. Manufacturers to build in a curve to alert you to change the filter or cartridge ink, usually prematurely. Change the water filter when it flashes red. Got a site like consumers.org for more information.
