Monday, March 21st, 2011Do T-mobile pay phones compatible with regular pre-t mobile sim cards?
I am a tmobile customer. My son had his phone wet while he is on vacation and I wanted to find a quick, cheap replacement option price. If he bought a prepaid tmobile to-use Walmart, etc. would work on the SIM card in all this?
Yes, indeed. I had a T-Mobile Sidekick and broke it and then I will not turn I went to Wal-Mart and bought http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/phones/Cell-Phone-Detail.aspx?cell-phone = Samsung T219 Red-this phone is prepaid. I called T-Mobile to make sure I could do that and they said yes. I put my sim card from my SK in the new phone and it worked perfectly. The SIM card automatically updates the cell phone with T-Mobile, although if the plans are different, you might want to call and changed the plan. For example, it was 20 dollars for the service and sidekick since I was not using this phone I changed the map of the UNL 14.99. SMS plan. I hope this helped!
