Conditioner Cooler
Wednesday, September 7th, 2011My air conditioner isn't working, to stay cooler is it better to....?
leave all the doors and windows closed and try to block out the sunlight or open the doors and windows and hope for a breeze? It's nearly 100 degrees out.
Close the windows and blinds first thing in the morning; as soon as the sun sets (or evening cooling starts), open the windows for cooling.
If you live in a multiple story house, it may be useful to keep one upstairs window open, for it's "chimney effect" on moving heat. You'll have to experiment on that, though.
