How to connect a switch replacement fan

It has 2 wire to the switch box fan ...... there is entry and exit is another. Do you need to simply connect the wiring In & Out (please power off while doing this work). ...!! Good luck if you need my help ..... pls send me hasnanmohdhasan@yahoo.com
