So I went on ebay to buy a fuel pump for my 2002 Sentra GXE ning and found this pen fuel pump which was very cheap. I bought it without thinking. Now that I took my fuel pump on i cannot figure a way to use the engine and the filter that came with it at the pump. I wanted to do was open the pump and see if I could change filter and pump on the old and replace it. but I thought I would ask here first before opening the product from its packaging so that I can return if it does not work for me. thanks
So you have this big white thing with springs and the unit of fuel level in your hand. There are three parts to this meeting and it will take at least 4 small flat screwdriver to push in the plastic parts to release the gas pump parts this is part of the engine and then there are several pieces black rubber at each end of the pump and a rubber disc dime business gos under the pump gasoline in a manner valve.If your attention, you may be able to disassemble and reassemble with the purchase of a maintenance manual. AUTO ZONE and other parts stores may be able to print the details of the pump assembly. Good Luck
