Can you throw a rock on timber frame house?

Can you throw a rock on timber frame house? We want to isolate our old house timber frame, we lose a lot of energy outside the walls, and floor ceilling. We will isolate the ceilling and soil in the spring. I was wondering if you can throwing stones on top of the wooden frame on the outside? Is it required by regulation of some sort? Would we have to break down the wood first? We just wanted to set up nets of metal on wood and rock and then ask, can you do that? Also, would it be allowed to use large pieces of thin rock as that used to make way or ways do we need to use thicker rock type constructor? Thank you.

Most houses brick or stone veneer is a (part resting on a stick) to answer your question, yes. You will be better to hire a mason brick or stone to do the job. It's not a job for the average tinkerer. A professional will also be able to tie into the gears and make the rock look like it belongs to home. There are a ton more that just mesh and mortar. If nothing else, do your homework and lots of it before starting a project like this.
