Now it is a refreshing dip in the NE, I'm looking for ways save on home heating. We have a combustion furnace oil and three zones in our house. We installed programmable thermostats on all three. I heard a completely different argument on the set temperature. Is it better to have them when he refused asleep or not home or do you use more fuel to have to heat the house back from a lower temperature? Would it be better to keep the temperature relatively the same time?
keep them around 65 to 68 when you sleep and work. when at home you can keep them around 70-72
