Furnace Circuit
Wednesday, July 28th, 2010I have a heat pump that heats up when cold, if I jump off reversing valve this works?
I have a heat pump Grandaire 2 tons in the cooling mode the compressor runs but puts the heat, if I skip the board de-icing system Y to the valve reverses and o it cools normal, is it the defrost circuit board or is it the heating system, or I'm off track all togetherc? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
O & C Check for 24 volts from the unit. O supplies the reversing valve for cooling. Should have nothing to do with the circuit funace. O should come from the thermostat, probably a juntion oven and return to the outdoor unit. Perhaps a cable break or fault thermostat.
