Essential Home
Monday, August 2nd, 2010What essential items should I have in the house of the purchase of an adult English Mastiff?
The dog must arrive on Friday. I cleaned laundry is all hers. I I'll buy the food the breeder recommended (Iams, eukasomething I think) in a large bag, food and water, leash and collar, large dog bed, 4-5 toys, shampoo and a box of candy and a soft bristle brush for grooming. The dog 14 months. Is there anyhting thing I may need? I have never owned a dog before that great.
I have an English Mastiff 3 years, and I can tell you from the heart that she does not drool, she does not eat a ton, and it is just a great friend. She does not walk much, she be winnowed. Choose toys that can not be pulled all the tricks of them! I spent just a toy shaped rope. And she likes to chew bones. It is not a chewer like my lab, but they like having chewing sessions either with sticks or intimidate large skins. I do not believe in boxes. Plus you would not get a large enough inside your home. Having the laundry room to be his bedroom is a great idea! You can mean "Eukanuba" food, but many people here say that is crap. I had my daughter soon, but she is so sweet loving, and unique. My husband is already ready for another one!
