Infrared Quartz
Saturday, March 5th, 2011Does anyone own a unit 1000XL EdenPure infrared quartz heat? Do they use a high level of electricity?
I do not personally own, but one of my in-laws bought two of them to heat their homes, instead of a corn burning stove, they have used for years. With the advent of the theory of corn for ethanol fuel and advance the price of a bushel of corn, it got more expensive to heat with burning corn than wood. They decided to try the Eden pure heaters and are very satisfied with the results. They say that the rooms stay nice and warm and electricity bills is not out of proportion to what it would cost to heat with corn burners. We will celebrate the Super Bowl on Sunday night there so I'll have a first hand experience then.
