How do I start added duct work from home in my oven to heat my garage?

I ran my furnace ducts to gas through the main plenum, in my basement, through a cement block wall in my Garge attached. I also installed a booster fan to help pull the heat in the garage, but have very little flow of air into the garage. Other ducts that branch from the main channel (plenum) have a good airflow. Where did I go wrong? The new measures taken: 8 "X 31 / 2". I had to choose the size jacket that I wanted to adapt exactly at or above the floor Joice. Please advise me?

Get a separate water heater for your garage. The vent size that you ran is big enough to carry 70 CFM of air that is sufficient for a small bathroom. In some areas, you may violate codes. The Most regions do not allow ventilation ducts in a garage in your house duct. The reason is that you can get fumes you directly in your home garage. If you have any exhaust fumes of gas, and etc. This may easily get into your duct system. I Good luck! They make regular small heaters for your garage.
