Replacement Chimney
Stainless steel chimney?
I'm installing a new double wall insulated stainless steel Class A chimney on my house. Because the walls of the basement are only about 2 'above the ground, my contractor is decided to set the T isolated in one foot, then cover it with concrete. I will not be able to access the page of cleaning the outside but I can take the hose off the interior for cleaning debris. My question is, is this a good idea to have the T encased in concrete? Do not they usually need replacement? This hose is quality formulated by Supervent and is covered by a lifetime warranty, but it makes me a little worried about what will be committed if the T should never be replaced.
Well, I drill a small hole in the center of the CAP, then turn the corner on a piece of 7 inches of rock then do something concrete about him ..... it will drain any moisture ....... Other then that I do not know ... cement shouldn't bother the metal ... the only time I replaced thenm was to bring pysically damedged (bumpy up)
