Pump Condenser
Why does it take to replace the whole unit when my AC compressor out?
My compressor is "locked" (as terms of HVAC guy) and he said all that needs to be replaced. I trust the company completely (it belongs to a good friend who would if the guy was trying to take advantage of us), but I do not understand why they should replace any agreement, rather than just the capacitor. This eight years, the system heat pump.
A couple years ago change SEER rating of 10 to 13 because of that your older outside the unit can be replaced singularly. The coil does not handle the new SEER and you have problems. Changing all Operation is the best thing to do and it will not void any warranty on the unit or condensing coil A. I'll save you money in the long term because it will not use as much energy to operate.
