The humidifier in our room creates condensation on the windows that runs and ruins the paint window.?

We need operate a portable humidifier in our bedroom every night (it was unbearably dry) and condensation formed on the drops of windows to the window sill and the ruins of the painting. Does anyone know any solution to this?

1) Use an insulating sheet of plastic. The hardware stores sell kits. You cover the windows, then use a hairdryer to shrink the plastic to remove wrinkles. 2) Cover the edges of a Saran wrap, aluminum foil, etc. 3) thresholds spray with furniture polish. Even the type you buy at 99 ¢ stores lasts for months.
