Evaporator Air
How much should it cost to replace an A / C evaporator coil?
I live in SC, and began to warm. When I turned my A / C on it started to blow hot air and frost began to form on the suction line. I had the service unit and was told there was a leak in the coil and it would need to be replaced. I been quoted a price of 1,335 dollars for parts and labor. Is this reasonable or is it really high?
Get a second opinion and not say nothing about the evap. leakage, it may be a leak of some other place.
