Ho do I stop the noise baseboard?
I replaced my old electric baseboards with new units. When heat happens, they rattle, knock and ping and it often wakes me up. I tried to loosen, tighten, and even the installation of thermostats different. With thermostats type right on full-off, the unit is noisy when the heater warms and cools only, while the new, programmable units that govern smaller quantities of heat, the unit went ping / knock / sizzling all night. I even tried different brands of heating, such as Dimplex and Uniwatt. Ideas? My old ones were perfectly quiet, old dirty and discolored.
You're sitting expansion / contraction noise elements that creep through the clips. Try a little WD40 on the clip point of the /. The steam will disappear after a while, the wax will remain as a lubricant.
