Burning Central
LPG gas or oil central heating? as town gas, right?
I just inherited a detached bungalow, which has no main supply gas line. Who is more efficient, LPG gas or oil central heating? We plan to have a wood stove in the lounge, possibly solar panels for hot water. Any suggestions?
Gotta go with oil for it, apart from the expenditure initial establishment of the fuel tank, LPG is the fuel price, best advice would be to use the wood stove as a space heater only, reason to be with him and the sun you have two difficult to control the means of heating water, meaning that you can not extinguish the sun, and the stove may take several hours to cool, which could lead to an excess of hot water and heat. Oil and solar work great things together that the boiler can be controlled electrically and in tandem with solar, the money saved should be invested in insulate your new home to reduce heat loss as much as possible and thus reduce your oil costs down
