Why my Everstar 10,000 BTU Portable Air leaks?

Help! My air conditioner flooded my floor. Pipe, it is out of the bottom of unity and is too low to the ground to plant a pan below. I use towels, but it's just too much water. I thought it was "self-evaporation. The drain pipe that he came from does not fit into this pipe. Is this the way it is supposed to work? Suggestions on how to deal with this problem? Thank you!
